Exactly how does it work:
I am a mobile tea party planning service that will come to your house or location of choice.  I bring all the supplies, canopy, table, chairs, costumes, table decor, handmade take home gifts, etc.  (no, you do not even need to purchase cups, napkins, plates, goodie bags, etc)  I will spend approx 2 hours setting up your party either the day of or day prior depending on the schedule.  I will leave you with all the tools and supplies you will need to host your daughters special day that includes 2 simple crafts, themed music, conversation topics, and game ideas.  Since my services as as a rental and I do not stay during the actual party duration, you will be responsible for supplying any food or drinks you wish to serve.  Please take into consideration any guests allergies and have Little Pink Par-Teas approve your selections.  A typical party that will include time for opening gifts last about 2 hours.  Do not worry about the ages of the children, all games and crafts are appropriate for all ages and nothing is breakable, all ceramic cup and pot sets in the pictures below have been replaced with a non-breakable alternative.   After spending a few months observing parties I am strongly encouraging you keep your guests at a max of 8 for your own benefit and the intimate atmosphere of a true tea.   Sometime when the party is over I will return to pack and load up.  All that I ask is that you have run the dishes thru the proper dishwashing techniques and leave everything out for me to inventory.   I tend to book about 2 months in advance so please call ahead to schedule.  Little Pink Par-Tea invitations are also available upon request for $15.

Coming Soon:
American Girl Tea Colors and Themes
Soon in 2012 I will be introducing a second set that will consist of hot pink and black to appeal to our older young ladies.  It will also include more American Girl games, music, higher tables, larger chairs, etc.

About Me:
I graduated from the University of Kentucky in Merchandishing, Apparel, and Textiles in 2002.  I then began a career working for an upscale fashion designer based out of New York.  At that company I held many titles in my field of interest such as marketing, event coordination, fashion show production, and charitable contributions.  I left my job to be a stay at home mom and continued on my journey by applying my skills to interior decorating and staging for myself, friends, and family.  At the same time I have done volunteer work in many different aspects and have been recently searching for my niche to give back.  I put all aspects of my life together and created Little Pink Par-Teas.  If you don't already know I have two little girls almost 3 and 6 and we love everything pink and girly.  I had been searching for birthday ideas for their upcoming parties because we were getting bored of attending the same birthday venues.  I wanted to plan a party that reflected their personality and came from my heart.  In the process I learned that doing so was not going to be cheap.  With the help of my mother we decided to go all out and purchase only the best items in hopes others can use it too.  This brings me to my final goal which is to give back.  In the meantime you can find Little Pink Parteas featured in the silent auction at the Ronald McDonald House annual gala.

Each girl who is celebrating a special occasion will take home a ready to frame 11by14 photo matte signed by all her guests, just simply supply us with a recent 8 by 10 photo

Your Little Pink Par-Tea can consist of up to 12 guests and 12 dolls, but 8 is recommended

The celebration girl will act as a hostess and greet her guests with a treat upon their arrival in the tea room (tea cart not included due to limited space).

Each guests has an elegant table setting equipped with a fan, organza napkin, pink ruffle charger, and their own tea kettle/cup combination (cups and kettles pictured have been replaced with non-breakable pink sets to take the anxiety away from hosting parents).  Simply purchase an instant Crystal Light type of flavored tea mix and the girls will be thrilled.

Only items with pink are allowed at our royal table!

Of course the elegance of tea would not be complete without a chandelier!

At Little Pink Parties, our dolls are as important as our young ladies, therefore, you will find different sets of pretend doll size food.  This makes a fun activity for our young hostess to walk around and serve to her guests.

I created Little Pink Parteas because I love everything pink and girly, especially after having two girls of my own in their most precious ages of 3 and 6.

Glass diamonds and silver rose petals give the table a little sparkle and shine

A special song will play about getting dressed for tea and makes for the perfect opportunity to fasten on their matching take home girl and doll hats while they admire themselves in the mirror. (trunk not provided)

I wanted Little Pink Par-Teas to be different than the average tea, so where its possible you will find a pink and white tulle canopy draping over the table, just like a fancy wedding reception or banquet hall.  This allows for better pictures and a special seperation from the party and the rest of your house.

One of the first parties I hosted was a "Back to School Tea" for my daughters.  Regardless if its a birthday party or simple small gathering, our guests always have our pink and white handmade tutus to borrow.

Getting them dressed up for the party makes them feel so special and is a great opportunity for photos.  Professional photographer referrals available upon request.

I hope you dance . . . . not only do we have fun tea themed music for games, but classical tea piano music will be playing during the entire party.

Who needs a goodie bag full of junk and sugar, at our parties each guests will go home with a matching tea hat for them and their dolls.  If your daughter and guest have already attended a past Pink Par-Tea, please ask about our other options.  Hats are adorned with our own pink polka dot bow decorations (ribbon size may vary depending on availability).

We chose the side hat after the influence of the Royal Wedding.  The Sinamay fabric is thin to prevent overheating and shadowing in pictures.  Their face will never be hidden during photo opportunities.

The tutus at Little Pink Par-Teas are not just any simple kind you can buy at a store.  They are long, sometimes ankle length, full ball-gown style that you could only find in boutiques.  As parents of the birthday girl, you also have the option to purchase her fan and skirt as a souvenir for $27 after the party.  A child size pink coat rack will be brought to hold these lovely skirts.

Just as we adults do at a wedding reception, we put a modern spin on our par-teas by having each guests sign a photo matte for the celebration girl to have as a keepsake.  Only difference is ours will only be written in "pink" pen :)

Some people may choose to have an American Girl Theme.  After living near Chicago for the past few years we made several trips to the American Girl Store and Tea Parlor which I used as inspiration.  Instead of traveling hours away, I'll bring a up to 12 American Girl Doll Tea Room Chairs.  They came right from the parlor and are the same exact ones they use today.

The boas make for another perfect photo opportunity and make the ladies feel extra fancy.

Only the best products are used like these 12 pink cottage chairs from pottery barn kids.  Pink folding chairs and a raised height tables are available for our older girls very soon.

Dolls will also have their own mini tea cups.  These sets also come with kettles, creamers, and sugar containers which are made of BPA free pink plastic.  A pink non-breakable set of cups and saucers also from pottery barn kids will be used for all other guests to take the worry away from breakable dishes.  The ceramic ones pictures here will typically be in use with our new hot pink and black parties for older young ladies.

The fans are not only a pretty decoration at each place setting, but they make our young ladies feel very prim and proper.

Marshmallows recommended in passing to replace sugar cubes.

What a classic picture, I think the expression on her face speaks for itself.  Her confidence and elegance is glowing everywhere.

When its age appropriate we try to give a few manners and ettiquete tips as they sip!
If a lesson style is not desired, you can always find it in the words of our music.

True tea party style

Can they guess the tea flavor, yes we try to use actual flavored tea.  She sure looks relaxed as she joins in the conversations.

You will always find our girls doing a toast, it just comes natural to them, we love to teach them to toast gracefully.

We prefer all treats be a light pink or white colors, not only for the overall look, but it keeps our supplies, clothing, and costumes free of stains.  If you choose to make your Par-Tea a luncheon we will provide you with food ideas you may buy and prepare on your own to keep your costs and mess down.

Mini Hat Cookies to decorate, Pink Sparkle Yogurt Pretzels, Silver and Pink Sherbert Flowers, and Cake Balls from "Cakes by Reva" bakery are some of the tea sized treats we like best!
